Anxiety over a windshield

As we were preparing to pack and ready the RV for our rally at the Paris Fair and then our trip to the Maritime Provinces, we had a small accident with significant consequences. We bumped into a fifth wheel - and the metal pin at the front - and it damaged the front generator door and flexed the RV enough to crack the huge one-piece windshield. The mirror and windshield wipers also had some damage. Brant County Ford made some initial repairs but with the help and information from our friends in the Ontario Overlanders RV group at our rally in Paris, we learned about Duncan RV Repairs in Elkhart, Indiana. They specialize in RV glass and had our windshield size in stock. So as soon as the rally was finished, we drove to Indiana and spent 2 nights there as they replaced the glass and the mirror for us. It was a big relief and a big hit in the wallet, but we were on the road again in speedy time. We are now ready to begin our long planned trip to the Canadian Maritime provinces with John and Mary Jagt.
