Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge Area
We spend an afternoon with Alice and Ed just 10 miles west of Boynton Beach in this protected area of the eastern Everglades. We learn about water control and the abundance of wildlife in this rich ecosystem. One can hike on top of dikes or canoe along a course through the grasses and reeds abundant with wildlife. Will we see any alligators today?
