Challenges!

On Saturday, November 13, we left Mohave NP and headed toward Desert Hot Springs. The cross winds were very strong and grabbed our awning and unfurled it as we drove on I-40. Jack had to climb on top of the RV and wrestle with the awning against the wind and roll it up. Twice, when he was almost finished, the wind got under and undid all his work and he had to begin again. I held a long handled broom and pushed on the awning cover from below - hard work! The sheriff arrived after our 911 call, just as we finished. At the next exit, we got off the highway and pulled off to a safe place and had a rest after that exhausting work.
