We are on Mt Carmel where Elijah met the 450 prophets of Baal who cut themselves in a frenzy to call on their god to bring fire down on the alter - to no avail. Then Elijah soaked the alter with water and humbly prayed to God to accept his offering and God answered by sending fire from heaven that consummed even the stones.
