This is an anhinga bird. He has no oils in his feathers so he has to spread his wings to dry them in the sun after spending time diving in the marshes for small fish to eat.

Jack and Mary Jagt are retired from the work of trading in natural rubber (Jack) and Intensive Care Nursing (Mary). They love to travel in their RV - nicknamed the Merrie Yacht.
