Halfway down the Mt of Olives, the Dominus Flevit church "Jesus Wept". Overlooking Jerusalem, Jesus stood here and felt deep sorrow for the people who would not believe that He had come to bring salvation to those who believed Him. Shaped in the form of a teardrop, each corner of the dome has an amphora to "catch the tears".
