Our last stop of the day was the baptism site on the Jordan River just as it leaves the Sea of Galilee. There were ramps for entering the river for baptism. We saw many people being baptised right here in the waters of the Jordan. It was a really joyful experience for each one who went down into the water and rose again - symbol of the washing away of their sins by the Lord Jesus Christ.
