Jesus told His disciples to wait for Him to return to them. The disciples became tired of waiting and several of them, including Peter, went to the Sea of Galilee to fish. After fishing all night, they came ashore with empty nets. We know it was here because there are seven springs that come from the hillside here. Fishermen have always washed and repaired their nets here. The disciples were tired and discouraged when a man came to them and told them to go out again and fish on the other side of the boat. They obeyed and pulled in nets heavy with 153 fish! When then came ashore, they saw a man cooking fish over a fire - it was Jesus and they recognized Him at last. After they had eaten, Jesus told Peter three times to "Feed my sheep" thereby restoring him back to his place after he denied Christ 3 times on the night of His crucifixion. This place is now called St Peter's Primacy - being restored again.
