Right after the Durango train trip, we decided to leave Colorado. It had been windy and unseasonably warm but a front is coming through and the winds were forecast to increase substantially, especially in New Mexico along I-40 - just where we were heading. So we drove to near Santa Fe late that afternoon and stayed at this casino. Generally, casinos are RV-friendly and let us stay overnight in their parking lots for free. Of course, we do not go into the casino but we enjoy a safe night on them. The next day we drove across New Mexico and the winds were still strong (about 60 mph) but at our back and that means good fuel mileage.
