Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Toronto General Hospital is the place where Mary worked for 27 years. Since retirement eight years ago, she has only visited once or twice, so she took the opportunity on this Saturday morning, to see who was working that she remembered - and who remembered her. We met Dr Chris Feindel , cardiac surgeon and colleague, on University Avenue as we approached the hospital and got a great hug and well wishes from him. Janice, Lorna, Cathy, Peter, and Christine remembered and told of changes in the unit and work loads that made me feel that I had retired "at the right time" . They also said that I "looked great and retirement must suit you well"!
