This lovely sign greeted us on our return to Mesa, Arizona on Dec 30. Skies have been sunny but temps took a dive on New Year's Day with daytime highs in the 60s. But it will warm up soon. Mary came down with a nasty cold/flu on Dec 28. Fever, aches, big time sore throat and general misery lasted a week, then a sinus infection settled in for another week but things are looking up now and we are back to the hiking and biking we enjoy. The flags are at half staff because of the shooting tragedy of the Congresswoman in Tucson last weekend.
