The historic El Rancho Hotel in downtown Gallup. It is right on the old Route 66 and became THE place for movie stars to stay when they were in town to make movies in the 1930s and 40s. The room have signs of the stars who had stayed there - Lucille Ball, Doris Day, John Wayne, Jack Benny, etc. It is sooo 1940s Old West - lobby with moose and deer heads, chairs made with cattle horns and wooden Indians standing in the door way.
