While exploring and finding our way to Scottsdale, we crossed the Salt River Indian Reservation. Jack likes to explore and we found ourselves out in the country on a dead end road. A huge herd of wild horses crossed in front of us - at least 75 - but a baby had a hard time making it up the roadside embankment and got left behind. We stopped for pictures and Jack even managed to pet her, but she ran away and I think that her Mum must have been nearby behind some bushes making sure she was all right
