Jack and Mary Jagt are retired from the work of trading in natural rubber (Jack) and Intensive Care Nursing (Mary). They love to travel in their RV - nicknamed the Merrie Yacht. Recently moved from the home they raised their family in to a condo in a smaller town, they now have fewer home responsibilities and hope to be on the road more often.

We are in the Golan Heights and stop at a viewpoint where we can see three countries - Lebanon, Syria and Israel. In front of us is a 'no man's land' buffer zone where there are white UN builings. Behind us on a hill side is an Israeli military installation that is watching all the time. We are cautioned not to take any pictures of these army buildings. While we were stopped, these young UN soldiers from Austria stopped by and agreed to have their pictures taken with us.
