Jack and Mary Jagt are retired from the work of trading in natural rubber (Jack) and Intensive Care Nursing (Mary). They love to travel in their RV - nicknamed the Merrie Yacht. Recently moved from the home they raised their family in to a condo in a smaller town, they now have fewer home responsibilities and hope to be on the road more often.

On the other side of the dike, near the town of Okeechobee at the north end of the lake, you can see that the lake is so shallow that marshes grow lushly - fishermen take advantage of that.
