For lunch, we are welcomed at the Good Samaritan Center. Our guide, George Abdullah's whole family is involved in volunteering at this center for senior care in the old city. His father and grandmother met us there and explained the work these Christians do for elderly people the area - transportation for doctor appts, visits with shut-ins, games and activities in the center, etc. They had made Israeli pizzas with differnt toppings, salad of tomatoes, cucumber and parsley and these pickled cauliflower, baby eggplants and olives for our lunch.
