Jack and Mary Jagt are retired from the work of trading in natural rubber (Jack) and Intensive Care Nursing (Mary). They love to travel in their RV - nicknamed the Merrie Yacht. Recently moved from the home they raised their family in to a condo in a smaller town, they now have fewer home responsibilities and hope to be on the road more often.

For lunch, we are welcomed at the Good Samaritan Center. Our guide, George Abdullah's whole family is involved in volunteering at this center for senior care in the old city. His father and grandmother met us there and explained the work these Christians do for elderly people
the area - transportation for doctor appts, visits with shut-ins, games and activities in the center, etc. They had made Israeli pizzas with differnt toppings, salad of tomatoes, cucumber and parsley and these pickled cauliflower, baby eggplants and olives for our lunch.
