Jack and Mary Jagt are retired from the work of trading in natural rubber (Jack) and Intensive Care Nursing (Mary). They love to travel in their RV - nicknamed the Merrie Yacht. Recently moved from the home they raised their family in to a condo in a smaller town, they now have fewer home responsibilities and hope to be on the road more often.

The weekend of August 27, we went to Fifty Point Conservation Area on Lake Ontario near Grimsby. Our friends Pam and Alan Van Weelden, and Darryl and Annetta Skelly were also camping for the weekend. George and Ada Kloet drove their boat from Oakville to the marina at Fifty Point so we could all enjoy boat rides on the lake. What a difference it makes to see areas we know well but from the water side - a whole different world! The Kloets were excellent hosts and wined and dined us on their lovely spacious boat - it even has berths for over night stays. We shared communal meals in the campground and had hours of good conversation. A great weekend!
