Jack and Mary Jagt are retired from the work of trading in natural rubber (Jack) and Intensive Care Nursing (Mary). They love to travel in their RV - nicknamed the Merrie Yacht. Recently moved from the home they raised their family in to a condo in a smaller town, they now have fewer home responsibilities and hope to be on the road more often.

The town of Burlington built a pier but it was engineered poorly and the concrete collapsed 2 years ago. While the lawyers are busy suing, the pier stands partially built.
