Jack and Mary Jagt are retired from the work of trading in natural rubber (Jack) and Intensive Care Nursing (Mary). They love to travel in their RV - nicknamed the Merrie Yacht. Recently moved from the home they raised their family in to a condo in a smaller town, they now have fewer home responsibilities and hope to be on the road more often.

Wednesday, September 15 - Jack's 68th birthday!!!! And what better way to celebrate than to be traveling and seeing new and interesting places ! Again, it is gray and drizzly but we have umbrellas and rain coats. But we did see some sun by mid afternoon and even had our chowder on an outdoor patio. You can see from the pictures why Fundy National Park is such a reputation for magnificent tides. We arrived about noon and after sitting out a rain shower in the RV and drinking coffee with John and Mary, we headed out to walk to the low tide mark - almost a kilometer. Tidal pools made interesting places for inspection and we found some huge scallop shells.
