Jack and Mary Jagt are retired from the work of trading in natural rubber (Jack) and Intensive Care Nursing (Mary). They love to travel in their RV - nicknamed the Merrie Yacht. Recently moved from the home they raised their family in to a condo in a smaller town, they now have fewer home responsibilities and hope to be on the road more often.

Maritime Chronicles
After getting her nose and eyes repaired, our RV - the Merrie Yacht - is ready to "hit the road" on our month long trip to the Canadian Maritime Provinces. After a quick trip to Elkhart to get a new windshield and a short stop at home to water the flowers and take in the mail, we spent Thursday evening in the driveway at John and Mary's home in Carlisle. Friday, September 10 dawned clear and bright and we are ready to begin our trip. We left at 9am in order to avoid the rush hour traffic on the 401 across Toronto. The driving went well and we spent the night in an RV park along the St Lawrence River near the Quebec border.
