Jack and Mary Jagt are retired from the work of trading in natural rubber (Jack) and Intensive Care Nursing (Mary). They love to travel in their RV - nicknamed the Merrie Yacht. Recently moved from the home they raised their family in to a condo in a smaller town, they now have fewer home responsibilities and hope to be on the road more often.

Monday Morning Hiking Group
Here at Mesa Regal RV park, they have an active group who hike trails in the mountains nearby every Monday morning. They meet at the flag pole to carpool and the leader picks the hike. Usually they have about 20 people. They range in age from 60s to late 70s and every one loves to hike in the desert. This week we hiked the Lost Dog Wash trail in the McDowell Mountains - a trail of 6.6 miles RT - some ups and downs and a look out over the city at a view point. One other overlook was at the point that ancient wandering tribes used to chase animals over a cliff edge and into a wash - many sharp rocks here were used to kill and skin the animals.
