After two and a half days of driving, we arrived home on Saturday, October 2. We had a fair bit of rain on the drive. On Friday, a tropical storm with strong winds and heavy rain was forecast to hit the Boston area where we had spent the night at a Walmart. We decided to wait it out - that was a wise decision - the winds really buffeted the rig - and the rains came down in a deluge. It would have been a dangerous morning to be on the interstate. By 111am, the storm had let up a lot so we got on the road.
It's good to be home again. We are looking forward to seeing Dylan again - baby hugs and kisses are the best! Next week, we fly to Alberta to celebrate with Margie and Doug as they begin a new life together - God is good!
Jack and Mary Jagt are retired from the work of trading in natural rubber (Jack) and Intensive Care Nursing (Mary). They love to travel in their RV - nicknamed the Merrie Yacht. Recently moved from the home they raised their family in to a condo in a smaller town, they now have fewer home responsibilities and hope to be on the road more often.
