Home!

After two and a half days of driving, we arrived home on Saturday, October 2. We had a fair bit of rain on the drive. On Friday, a tropical storm with strong winds and heavy rain was forecast to hit the Boston area where we had spent the night at a Walmart. We decided to wait it out - that was a wise decision - the winds really buffeted the rig - and the rains came down in a deluge. It would have been a dangerous morning to be on the interstate. By 111am, the storm had let up a lot so we got on the road.
It's good to be home again. We are looking forward to seeing Dylan again - baby hugs and kisses are the best! Next week, we fly to Alberta to celebrate with Margie and Doug as they begin a new life together - God is good!
A beautiful sunset in Rochester, New York on the last evening of our trip.

It's a very rainy day with very high winds from a tropical storm as we drive across Massachusetts and New York states.

We part ways - John and Mary will return home via New Hampshire and Vermont. We will take I-95 to Boston and then straight home on I-90.
